The Knutti Store in Goodramgate – a Viking themed shop – opened on July 28, 2023. It was run by Anthony Lewis and Lei Li, who designed ‘Knutti the Jorvik Viking’.
Knutti, or ‘little Canute’ in Norse, was a character seen across a wide range of designs sold in Goodramgate, including clothing, soft toys, and homeware.
Some of the Knutti range (Image: Haydn Lewis) The shop in Goodramgate has now been emptied, the company’s website taken down, and its registered address on Companies House has been moved to The Bishop & Bison Hotel, a business also owned by Anthony Lewis.
The Knutti Store has been approached for comment, and will we publish its response once we get it.
