Presenter Mel Giedroyc to DJ at Henley Festival 2025

This year’s Henley Festival will feature a DJ set by presenter and comedian Mel Giedroyc as part of a Saturday night takeover by Magic Radio.

The UK’s only black-tie music and arts festival will take place from July 9 to 13 and feature a programme with headliners including Diana Ross, McFly, Rick Astley, Matteo Bocelli, Jamie Cullum, and Haçienda Classical.

Magic Radio will bring music to the festival club, Pure Heaven, with a Saturday night takeover.

The actress, comedian, and former Great British Bake Off presenter will kick off the party with her own choice of music.

She said: “I am so excited to be hosting my first ever DJ gig. That’s right Henley Festival, you will see my debut as a DJ, and it is going to be a night to remember.

“I can’t wait to welcome all the Magic Radio listeners and maybe we will take a request or two.”

She said: “What a fantastic line-up Henley Festival has this year, and I am thrilled to be part of the Saturday night where I will be DJing in the Pure Heaven tent, staying up just a little bit later than usual.

“So, grab your best outfit and get ready to dance the night away with me (and Madonna) at this truly unique event.”

Ms Scott is no stranger to the Henley audience, having previously warmed up crowds for Nile Rogers and joined fellow breakfast co-host Gok Wan on stage.

“Pure Heaven will be packed to the rafters with Magic Radio presenters Mel and Harriet in charge of the music – what a way to spend a Saturday night.”

Henley Festival offers a unique experience with a music programme of pop, world, classical, folk, and jazz.

The festival also features comedy and cabaret, art galleries and sculpture installations, roving performers, dining, drinks, dancing, and fireworks.

It is also a charity with a mission to support the next generation of talent through its RISE programme.

Ahead of the festival, Magic Radio will also be offering listeners the chance to win their way into the event with exclusive ticket giveaways.
