Jackie Crozier, from Little Bird Made, said she was thrilled to be back at Front Street.
‘’The support from the Acomb community and visitors to the area has been and is incredible, and we love providing a platform for these talented small businesses to connect directly with their customers. Each market is carefully curated to ensure a wide range of high-quality products, and this weekend was no exception.’’
Small business owner Tim Gomersall, of Tim Gomersall Art and Illustrations, said: ‘’York is full of inspiration for artists, and I base a lot of my work on those ancient cobbles and ramshackle streets. So, the outlying town of Acomb is a natural place to take my work. I really enjoy the market here; it’s got a nice, relaxed feel, and you can always find something a bit special from the other traders.’’
Little Bird Made also launched the Acomb Flourish & Feast food market last weekend which will take place on the second Saturday of the month.
