With Memorial Day in the rearview mirror, I’m full steam ahead on summer shopping. The weather should finally give us a chance to test out new swimwear, wear all things linen, and break out the sandals. This winter, I lived in J.Crew’s rollneck sweaters. Everyone and their mother was rocking one of these knits, and I’m eager to see which of J.Crew’s items will go viral next. Could it be any of the 16 summer tops or dresses below? I definitely think so. To shop a few pieces from the brand’s newest collection and get your hands on the ones that will most likely sell out, keep reading.
Summer Tops
It is becoming abundantly clear that J.Crew can nail knitwear for every season. This summer, you can shop the Montauk Pullover Sweater ($188), the Bias-Cut Linen Shirt ($148) for lightweight layers, or snag any of the brand’s featherweight cashmere pieces. The latter are ideal for summer work outfits, in my opinion.

Summer Dresses
As someone whose summer uniform consists of a dress and a pair of sandals, it was difficult to pick a favorite from J.Crew’s latest arrivals. The Gwyneth Flounce-Hem Slip Dress ($148) is simple, versatile, and very ’90s-coded. The Reverie Dress in Lobster & Seashell Print ($168) feels coastal and playful, which is perfect for the season. There are too many cute styles to choose from.
