A department store that was once hailed as the future of the retail concept has announced that it will close.
Sandersons opened at the Fox Valley development on the site of a former steelworks in Sheffield in 2016.
The family-owned boutique store, which employs 19 members of staff, will shut in March following a “review” of the business.
A spokesperson said: “We have made the difficult decision to close the company’s Fox Valley store. Our initial focus will be in assisting all staff affected by our closure to secure new positions, hopefully within the centre.”
