Live music continues to captivate audiences around the world, and the industry is showing no signs of slowing down. With demand for unforgettable live performances higher than ever, key players like ASAP Sound and Nerdmatics are stepping up to meet the challenge.
Jordan Stilwell, co-founder of ASAP Sound, believes the stakes have never been greater. “We’re in an era where audiences expect more than just a concert—they want a spectacle that resonates,” Stilwell says. “By focusing on innovation and precision, we’re helping artists deliver experiences that stick with fans long after the show ends.”
With live music revenue surpassing $8.7 billion in 2024 and streaming subscriptions climbing past 99 million, the industry is thriving. Recognizing the growing demand for high-quality productions, ASAP Sound is expanding its reach to major cities like New York and London. This strategic growth will allow the company to provide even more specialized services, from custom rentals to expert consulting, ensuring artists have everything they need to elevate their performances.
For Fred Carlton, co-founder of Nerdmatics, precision is at the heart of every successful live production. “Live music is about creating a connection, and the smallest details can make or break that experience,” Carlton explains. “Our technology ensures every moment—every note, every visual cue—feels intentional and seamless.”
Nerdmatics has built its reputation by integrating cutting-edge technology into live tours, using tools like MIDI automation to synchronize sound, lighting, and visuals. By empowering artists to execute their creative visions with pinpoint accuracy, Nerdmatics ensures that no element of a show is left to chance.
The live music industry is experiencing explosive growth, with 144 million tickets sold in 2024, according to Live Nation. This surge reflects not only the enduring popularity of concerts but also fans’ increasing expectations for unique, immersive experiences.
By combining ASAP Sound’s production expertise with Nerdmatics’ technological innovations, the two companies aim to set a new standard for live events. Whether it’s ensuring a flawless audio mix or synchronizing stunning visuals with every beat, the collaboration is poised to redefine how audiences engage with live music.
“Every show we work on is an opportunity to break new ground,” Stilwell says. “We’re not just raising the bar—we’re reimagining what live music can be.”
Carlton echoes this sentiment, emphasizing the partnership’s potential to innovate. “When technology and artistry come together, the possibilities are endless,” he says. “It’s not about the tools—it’s about how we use them to elevate the entire experience.”
As the industry evolves, collaborations like this one are paving the way for a new era in live entertainment. From iconic venues like Madison Square Garden to groundbreaking stages around the world, the work of ASAP Sound and Nerdmatics represents a bold vision for what’s next.
For fans, this means more than just attending a show—it’s about becoming part of an experience that’s unforgettable. For artists, it’s an opportunity to explore creative possibilities with the support of innovative partners.
The stage is set, and the future of live music has never looked brighter.
