Brooke Shields served up a dose of vacation FOMO on Tuesday as she soaked up the sun in the Bahamas—while giving her fans a look at her toned bikini body. The Blue Lagoon actress’s abs were on full display as she shared photos of herself lounging in the sand while dressed in a plunging black-and-white triangle swimsuit.
Shields was the epitome of beachside glamour in the elegant bikini set from eco-friendly brand Sea Level Australia, which complemented her physique with a low-cut triangle-style white swimsuit top trimmed with a black accent on the cups and band. Leaning back on her arms, the Commence hair care founder gave her 2.4 million Instagram followers a glimpse of the matching swimsuit bottoms, which featured a black band running along her lower midriff and on the sides of her hips.

Shields appeared to be embracing the island ethos with her beauty and accessories, adding some shine with stacks of turquoise, silver, and gold bracelets around her wrists. In a third photo, the former Calvin Klein model also showed off an abstract silver pendant necklace as well as her “special guest star”—a little dachshund dog who could be seen wearing a red, white, and blue-striped collar as he leaned against her on the sand.
The 59-year-old actress showed off her natural beauty—and vacation tan—for her Bahamas beach day, wearing her long brown hair in beachy waves while accentuating her features with a swipe of light pink lipstick, black mascara, and flushed cheeks.

“Wearing my brand new @indiahicksstyle x @sealevelaustralia bathing suit!!” she captioned the Instagram slideshow.
The Brooke Shields Is Not Allowed to Get Old author has been outspoken about finding a newfound confidence in herself as she approaches 60. In a January interview with CBS News, Shields said that she’s feeling better than ever at 59, explaining, “I definitely feel a youthfulness that I didn’t feel in my younger years.”

“When you are someone that has been noted for looking a certain way, by virtue of just growing older, you become a disappointment, in a way,” she said. “I’ve watched people get sort of personally affronted that I dare to be 60.”
Shields, who told the publication she feels 38, revealed that she’s ready for her next decade of life. “I’m, you know, going to be 60 years old,” she said. “I’m still here. I feel like I’m at the beginning of a new, really exciting stage. The more confident you get–isn’t it interesting–the more opportunity you get. And yet, you couldn’t have arrived at said confidence without going through all the time to get here.”
