A little girl got a special treat from Qdoba after they forgot her guacamole.
5-year-old Astoria “Stori” Monique was left teary-eyed when the fast food chain forgot to include her guacamole with her order. She shared her experience in a viral video in April, which has since accumulated over 6 million views on TikTok and Instagram.
“I’m very heartbroken, Qdoba,” Stori said to the camera with a shaky voice. “Because you forgot my favorite sauce, guacamole.”
The message made its way to the Mexican-style fast food restaurant, who respond in a comment on Instagram, “Stori needs her guac ❤️ please send us a DM and we’ll make this right!”
And make it right, they did. Qdoba invited the young girl to work behind the counter for a day at a local shop, and even gave her the important title of Chief Guacamole Officer. “She now gets all the guac her heart desires,” the eatery wrote in a media release.

“When we first saw Astoria’s emotional video, where she shared she was missing her favorite sauce—guacamole—we knew we had to step in and make it right,” executive chef Katy Velazquez said in a statement shared with PEOPLE. “We’re proud to name her as our honorary Chief Guacamole Officer, a title as bold and spirited as she is. We always knew our guac was good, but we didn’t know it could bring someone to tears!”
The restaurant also responded with a video of their own on TikTok, where a chef explained how they were planning to “make it right” with Stori. “Hi Stori, I’m Chef Katy from Qdoba,” Velazquez said from a Qdoba kitchen. “I am so sorry that we missed your favorite sauce. Thank you for telling us.”
She continued: “We are gonna make it right and send you so much guacamole, your brain’s gonna explode. And I want to show you how to make it so that you can make it at home any time you want.”
Velazquez then demonstrated how to make the special dip using smashed avocados, jalapeno, cilantro, red onion, lime juice and salt. “That’s it,” the chef said at the end. “Super easy and super yummy! We’re gonna send you some, so you don’t have to make it. But now you know how. Bye Stori!”

Stori documented her visit to Qdoba in a social media video, which showed her arriving to the restaurant and being gifted a customized uniform in her size. She reacted happily to receiving the ensemble, clapping her hands and instantly putting it on.

“I am the Chief Guacamole Officer,” she declared to the camera in the video, before excitingly running off to make a batch of guacamole. At the end, she placed her order at the counter, asking for a chicken quesadilla with a side of chips and her favorite sauce, of course.
The young girl took a bite of the guacamole and flashed a thumbs up.
Stori opened up to Today about the events that led up to her special visit.
When asked about why she was upset after not receiving the guacamole with her order, she said, “Cause it’s creamy, yummy and delicious.” However, Qdoba made up for it with Stori’s immersive experience, which she described as “so fun.”
