The new launch will see some of music’s biggest names perform

A massive new festival is being billed as ‘one of the biggest things in Leeds’.

The popular Leeds Roundhay Park will host the new event. The 2026 Roundhay Festival is happening between Friday, July 3 and Sunday, July 5.

Headlining the festivities will be Lewis Capaldi and Pitbull. You can find out more and buy tickets here.

Many household names will be performing across the three days while, the organisers, have recently announced a closing event called All Things Orchestral on Sunday, July 5.

“Getting to come to things like this is brilliant,” Kerr said. “It is going to be so sick. Even just to meet everyone (performing). I’ve known Lewis for a couple of years and to get on to this and play a show with him will be brilliant.”

Kerr, known for songs Alcohol and Terrified, is no stranger to Leeds. Kerr explained: “Leeds is brilliant. My manager is a huge, huge Leeds United fan so I’ve been down for games and been here quite a few times. Also, it is a brilliant night out. A brilliant night out.

“I’ve also played a few shows here. I’ve supported Kingfishr. Leeds is a brilliant crowd and it is going to be class to play one of the biggest things in Leeds.”

Down the years, we’ve seen the famous Leeds park host memorable shows from The Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, Robbie Williams and U2. Most recently, Ed Sheeran played two nights at Roundhay Park back in 2019.

Kerr said: “I wasn’t fully aware of all the names to begin with – The Stones and U2 it is mental.”
