Layover in Manila without the stress of city traffic or overpriced airport hotels? Staying at an Airbnb near Manila Airport is your smartest option! One of the best-kept secrets for travelers is Resorts World Bayshore Manila. It’s a new residential community in Parañaque within Entertainment City Manila, a large-scale entertainment complex.
If you’re also planning future trips in the Philippines, you’ll be glad to know something. Brands like Marriott Hotels and destinations such as Club Paradise Coron can improve your experience. Combining stays in world-class hotels with unique island getaways makes the Philippines an exciting and convenient travel hub!

We recently stayed at an apartment hosted by Amazing Stays (see the Airbnb listing here). It offered the perfect combination of convenience, comfort, and modern design. Bayshore Manila makes a Manila layover feel more than a stopover. Resorts in Newport City, like Hotel Okura Manila, Sheraton Manila Hotel, and Westin, also offer comfortable accommodations.
Why Stay at an Airbnb in Bayshore Manila?
1. Close to NAIA Airport
One of the main reasons to choose Bayshore is its location. It’s just 15–20 minutes from NAIA Terminals 1, 2, and 3, making it one of the most convenient places to stay near the airport. Instead of wasting time in traffic, you can check in quickly, rest, and be on time for your next flight.
2. Hotel-Like Comfort with Airbnb Freedom
The Amazing Stays Bayshore apartment we booked had everything you need for a short or extended stay:
- Comfortable queen-sized bed for restful sleep.
- Wi-Fi and smart TV for entertainment on your current device and other devices.
- A kitchenette with dining area.
- Free toiletries for convenience.
- A balcony view for a refreshing break.
You can have extra beds or a crib with special requests. You can choose between a studio unit and a two-bedroom unit. It depends on your preference.
It’s a great balance between the privacy of a hotel and the flexibility of an Airbnb apartment.
3. Modern Amenities in a New Development
Bayshore is a newly built 13-story building with modern condominiums. It includes a rooftop pool, a spa, banquet rooms, art amenities, and a gaming zone. Occupancy info shows less than 60%. This means facilities are quiet and spacious.
The bayshore residential resort is part of a joint venture under Travellers International Hotel Group. It’s owned by Genting Hong Kong Group and AGI. RWBci leads the project. It focuses on multibillion-dollar private casinos and an upscale commercial complex. For business travelers, it offers both quiet relaxation and proximity to Metro Manila attractions.
4. Access to Shopping, Dining, and Entertainment
Staying at Bayshore puts you close to some of Manila’s most popular destinations:
- SM Mall of Asia – huge mall with shops, cinemas, and restaurants.
- SMX Convention Center – venue for expos and large events.
- Mall of Asia Arena – concerts, basketball, and international shows.
- Okada Manila, Solaire, City of Dreams Manila – casinos, dining, and entertainment.
- Seaside Esplanade and Bay Amusement Park – good for sunset views.
- Grand Opera House – part of the area’s cultural revival.
This means your Manila layover Airbnb doubles as a base for exploring top attractions without long commutes.
Honest Cons: What You Should Know Before Booking
No place is perfect. Bayshore Manila is still in its growth phase. Here are a few things to consider before booking:
- Newly Built, Still Growing – It’s modern and fresh. But the area doesn’t yet have the same lived-in vibe as Makati or BGC. Some retail spaces are still empty.
- Less Than 60% Occupancy – Great for peace and quiet. Community vibe hasn’t fully formed yet. Expect quieter common spaces. It can feel either relaxing or slightly creepy, depending on your mood.
- Limited Grab/Taxi Availability at Times – It’s not as dense as other districts. It can take a few minutes longer to get a Grab driver compared to Makati or Pasay.
- Food Options Require a Short Ride – Resorts World and MOA are nearby. But you won’t find as many dining options at your doorstep just yet.
- Still Finding Its Identity – Bayshore is marketed as the “next big lifestyle district.” But it’s still being developed. Don’t expect a full nightlife right outside your door yet.
What You Can Do Around the Area
If you’ve got 12-48 hours in Manila, Bayshore is the perfect base to explore. You won’t waste time in traffic. Here are a few ideas:
Within Walking/Short Ride Distance
- Casino Resorts: You don’t have to gamble to visit. Okada Manila is worth visiting for its fountain shows, Michelin-level dining, and picture-perfect indoors.
- SM Mall of Asia: Shop, watch movies, or grab a seaside dinner. Don’t miss Baywalk at sunset.
- MOA Eye (Ferris Wheel): Offers a fun way to see the skyline.
Half-Day Adventures
- Intramuros (30 minutes away): Manila’s walled city, with old streets, Fort Santiago, and San Agustin Church.
- Cultural Stops: National Museum Complex or the CCP (Cultural Center of the Philippines) for art and history.
- Food Trip in Binondo: The world’s oldest Chinatown, great for dim sum and food walks.
For Longer Layovers (24–48 hours)
- Day Trip to Tagaytay: Just 1.5 hours away, you can see Taal Volcano, eat great food, and enjoy cooler air.
- Poblacion, Makati: Manila’s nightlife spot, with rooftop bars and restaurants.
- Manila Bay Cruise: Catch a dinner cruise for city lights and sea breeze.
