Spice Girls special reunion as Mel B joins Mel C on-stage performing for delighted fans in Leeds

It was an incredible experience for fans of The Spice Girls

Leeds has hosted a special Spice Girls reunion.

There’s been many rumours circulating, once again, about whether we’ll soon see a full comeback from The Spice Girls. For now, fans were delighted to see two of the five members on-stage together in Leeds.

This was when home city favourite Mel B, 50, joined Mel C, 52, on-stage at Project House on Saturday evening. Mel C performed in Leeds as part of a promotional tour to celebrate the release of her latest album Sweat.

Mel B and Mel C treated those at Project House to Spice Girls classic Spice Up Your Life. Mel C said: “Now, the next song feels wrong to sing without an unnamed woman in the crowd. And it feels wrong to do this without her. I wouldn’t be where I am today without this woman.”

It was the first time the two Spice Girls had performed together since 2019.

Ahead of the show, Mel C held a meet-and-greet at Leeds city centre store Crash Records.
