The $24 Hsia Minimizer Bra Gives Comfortable Lift

Bra shopping with a big bust might as well be an Olympic sport. As a 32G, my general consensus is that findings are slim, comfort is lacking, and good bras don’t come cheap—at least, most of the time. My latest bra find defies the norm, delivering looks, comfort, and support at just $24.

The Hsia Minimizer Bra came onto my radar not because I was looking for a minimizer bra, but because it is going viral on TikTok. (It’s currently in the top 10 best-selling bras on Amazon, too!) Minimizer bras, like the name suggests, make your bust appear smaller, but fans on TikTok applaud it for its comfortable, supportive fit that doesn’t smash or tug at the girls. It lifts, but I also find that it offers discreet support since the cups are not padded. The bra always looks smooth under clothing and the strap and bands stay in place. 

Before I tried minimizer bras, I had this notion of them being tight, squeezing, and restrictive, but this one is the complete opposite. Comparing the fit to my other bras, the cups are a bit farther apart, which provides lift and shapes while minimizing. 

I was so skeptical the first time this bra came across my TikTok feed because it’s gorgeous. In my experience, the larger your bust, the harder it is to find pretty bras. Pretty and comfortable? The combo almost never exists, so this bra sounded too good to be true. In fact, it took me a few weeks of watching countless reviews before I finally decided to buy it. But although the Hsia bra is lacy and dainty, it’s so comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. I can wear it all day and forget that I’m even wearing an underwire bra—and I’ve never experienced that before. 

One shopper with a 36DD chest says there’s “no bulging or digging”—just “support.”  A shopper with a 40H bust says this bra “keeps everything lifted and in place all day” without feeling like they’re “being squeezed.” While a shopper with a 40G chest owns multiples of this bra they call a “second skin” because it’s so comfortable, they forget they’re wearing it.
