Last year, the Derbyshire Food and Drink Fair welcomed more visitors than ever before, as individuals and families from the county and further afield headed to the stunning surrounds of Elvaston Castle for a true celebration of food, drink and local produce over one memorable weekend.
Derbyshire Life was proud to be the exclusive media partner for the fair, which has gained a reputation as one of the standout events of this kind, not just in Derbyshire but across the region.
This year, as the fair celebrates its 10th anniversary, visitors will once again be in for a treat and Derbyshire Life is again delighted to be on board as the media partner.
Firery Dough Wood Fired Pizza is a must Photo: Derbyshire Food and Drink Fair Run by passionate father and daughter duo Alan Cartwright and Laura Loadman, the family ethos translates to the two days itself, with so much to do and see for people of all ages. Described by Alan as a ‘true celebration of Derbyshire’, expect superb local produce, fabulous street food to enjoy on the day, arts and crafts stores, entertainment for all the family and so much more – all in one place.
What’s more, this is a dog-friendly event – so feel free to bring yours along (must be kept on a lead at all times).
Local producers, street food, crafts, gifts and homeware, live bands, on-site bar, children’s activities and theatre stage… these two days will have it all.
There’s plenty to celebrate and be proud of as far as Derbyshire’s food and drink scene is concerned, and you’ll find it all here. Don’t forget to look out for the Derbyshire Life gazebo and come and say hello! derbyshirefoodanddrinkfair.co.uk
