A musical inspired by the Great British Bake Off is coming to Oxford later this year.
The Great British Bake Off Musical will be staged at the Old Fire Station from September 17 to 20.
Oxford-based company MAC Productions will bring the show to the city for the first time.
Pippa Cleary, who produced the music and lyrics alongside Jake Brunger, said: “I’m delighted that audiences in Oxford will finally get the chance to see The Great British Bake Off Musical this September.

“I wish the team and cast the very best of luck – audiences are in for a treat.”
The musical follows contestants Babs, Ben, Dezza, Francesca, Gemma, Hassan, Izzy, and Russell as they compete to be crowned baking champion by impressing Dame Pam Lee Phil Hollinghurst.
Nicky Robinson, a founding member of MAC Productions and director of the show, said: “We are so excited to be presenting The Great British Bake Off Musical in Oxford for the very first time.
“Audiences will be treated to a toe-tapping, flour-dusted spectacle that celebrates friendship and ambition, with a generous sprinkle of chaos.
“There are also more than a few cheeky references to the TV show that fans will recognise.”
