THE Malmesbury Good Afternoon Choir will host a free concert on Saturday, May 17.
The event, titled Malmesbury Does the Musicals, will take place at Malmesbury United Reformed Church at 3pm, with doors opening at 2.30pm.
The choir, led by Corrie Darker, is preparing a special programme for the event, which will support their 2025 chosen charity, Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance.
The concert will feature special guests ThreeO, a collaboration between local musicians Theo May, Greg May, and Paul Mason.
Their fusion of folk and jazz promises to be a highlight of the event.
Grenville Jones, founder of the Good Afternoon Choirs, said: “It is going to be a great afternoon of Malmesbury does the Musicals, so why not come along for a singalong.”
It is a free admission concert with a retiring collection for Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance.
The Good Afternoon Choirs were started by Mr Jones 16 years ago.
There are now 35 across the south west of England, south Wales, and London, with more than 1,600 members.
There are no auditions to join, and the first rehearsal is free.
