Rumer Willis Gave a Encouraging Update on Bruce Willis’s Dementia

Despite his ongoing battle with frontotemporal dementia, Bruce Willis is “doing great,” according to his eldest daughter, Rumer Willis. Speaking in a new interview with Loose Women, a U.K.-based talk show, the actor was all smiles as she reiterated, “he’s doing really well.”

“I think again because my family, we’re all so close, I think what’s so beautiful is the way that we rally around each other is so lovely because we really are a unit,” she continued. 

The Willis family has had to rally around each other in more ways than one. Dealing with the fallout from the L.A. wildfires, Rumer explained that the family was “most scared” when confronting the devastation that has effected neighborhoods all across Los Angeles.

She then went on to explain that though her parents are no longer together, Bruce Willis and Demi Moore still served as excellent role models for her and her two sisters, Tallulah and Scout Willis

“I think the thing that I’m the most grateful for is that even when they split up, that they created such a beautiful foundation of prioritizing my sisters and I that I never felt like I had to choose,” Rumer said. “They never played against each other. We were a family. And we still are very much a family, no matter what.”

She continued, “I feel deep gratitude for the example they’ve set. And I feel like the example they’ve set has been not only for me, but I think a lot of people have looked at them as an example.”
