With Betfred Super League giants Hull KR set to visit the LNER Community Stadium tomorrow evening (7.30pm), there has been a big push for York to break their previous attendance record.
The Knights’ previous record attendance since reforming stood at 4,281, which came against Bradford Bulls in 2018.
However, the club have confirmed that ticket sales have now surpassed that number, with history set to be made for the Knights on Friday.
As the Press confirmed on Tuesday, over 4,000 tickets were sold following York’s progression past Keighley Cougars in the Challenge Cup second round, with over 1,000 tickets sold within an hour of them becoming available.
The West Stand has sold out, with the Knights supporters situated in the East and South Stands, whilst Robins’ supporters are to be seated in the West and North Stand.
Tickets remain available, but the club have warned that they are selling fast, whilst there is still also hospitality available with ten spaces remaining.
Limited tickets remain available for general admission in the East and South Stand, whilst less than 50 places are left in the Premier Club, which includes live music and post-match player interviews.
Tickets are available from £20 for Adults, £15 for Concessions and free for Under 16s, and can be purchased HERE.
